Previous Work

The work shown below is a showcase of some of the projects we have done over the years including information on how the projects went and exactly what work was done on each of them.

Barton Farm

As you can see in the pictures below, Barton farm was a project built from the ground up. All of the ground work, landscaping, superstructure and decorating was done by Paul Watters Contractor Ltd. From when we started construction to the home being occupied took just 12 months.

Sandbanks Road

Sandbanks road was originally a 1930’s property that was completely refurbished as well as a large extension and garaging for 4 cars. After we completed this project some time later we were asked to return and put an additional garage on the property.

Canford Cliffs

The property was originally a 1950’s bungalow. we were contracted to removed the roof on this home, constructed a new first floor and completely refurbished the property. We later returned to lay a new block pave drive and then returned again to do patio and landscaping works.

Eype

We were contracted to carry out the propping and installation of a steel framework, allowing the demolition of the outside walls and basement bar. We then carried out the ground works, stone works and concrete decking flooring that formed the floor to the new conservatory and external patio area.

House in the woods Conservatory

We were engaged to bulk excavate the garden to allow for the foundations and brick construction to the conservatory base. We then built retaining walls and carried out landscaping works.

House in the woods Garage

Originally this was a stable block, we were asked to demolish and grub out the old foundations. We then installed land drains to dewater the site before excavating and concreting the foundations. We then constructed block work to dpc. We then prepared the oversite on which we laid a reinforced concrete slab.

Ormonde Nursing Home

This project was an extension to an EMI unit allowing the residents extra dining and communal area. We had to work closely with the staff due to the vulnerability of the residents, keeping disturbance and interruptions to a minimum.

St Johns Ambulance Wallisdown

We constructed a new, 3 vehicle garage for their ambulance. On this project we had to use a reinforced concrete raft foundation with a steel framed building clad in 215 brick work.

St Johns Ambulance Bridport

We constructed a very large garage for the Bridport branch of St Johns to house their ambulance. The sympathetic brick built garage with tiled roof blends nicely into the park. We then fenced the area in to become part of the Bridport town councils groundsman yard.

Aspen Swanage

Formerly the famous Gillan Hotel of Swanage, we were the main contractor tasked to part demolish, strip out and then convert with a new build on the side to make 12 luxury apartments. We also, with our specialist steam cleaning division had to clean the existing building down and repoint where required.

Bear Cross

This project was for a domestic residence in Bear Cross. As the chosen contractor we were asked to block pave the end of their drive to stop the old shingle drive migrating onto the highway. We understood the need for this job to be done fast and efficiently as it was the only access point to the residence.

Challow Farm

We were engaged to demolish, remove the ground floor, excavate and concrete the foundations before starting on the superstructure and reinstating the new ground floor. We completely replaced both foul and surface water drainage around the property. Our specialist steam cleaning division also steam cleaned the stone property.

Park Cottages Hurn

We were contracted to strip out the old barns/stable, prop the roof in place to keep the planning on the property live, demolish and remove everything below the roof frame. Then we excavated and concreted the foundations, oversite, carried out all masonry works, drainage, installed a new septic tank and landscaped the area.

Parkstone

We were asked to remove a tired, driven on, worn out patch of grass and replace it with a new block paved area allowing the occupants a lovely extra car parking space.

Stone Firm

We were contracted to lay a heavily reinforced concrete slab to allow the heavy duty forklift to move large 10 ton plus Portland stone blocks easily the work yard. This allowed easy access to the stone saws. With aco channel drainage system to allow rain water harvesting as they used a large amount of water when cutting stone.
